Member FAQs

Many services for testing and treatment for COVID-19 are covered by major medical plans. However, ancillary products like fixed indemnity benefits ("hospital & doctor" plans), dental, critical illness or others do not provide coverage. It is best to review your plan details or call the customer service phone number on the back of your ID card for more information.

The federal government has launched a national website where each household can receive a one-time shipment of four free over-the-counter (OTC) at-home COVID-19 tests shipped directly from covidtests.gov. For more information on this program, go to covidtests.gov.

Select “Find a Doctor” on the UHOne4me.com home page. That will redirect you to UnitedHealthcare’s Find a Doctor or Dentist page. Enter your zip code and select “Current Customer,” then “Search.”

Several options will display depending on what you’re looking for (Hospital & Doctor, Dental Plans, Vision Plans, etc.). Select the option that reflects your plan and the type of doctor you want to find.

Note: For some plans and types of physicians, you may be required to log in to myuhc.com. Your login credentials for UHOne4me.com are unique, and you will need to register separately to use myuhc.com.

Click here for more information about your prescription drug coverage and to find in-network pharmacies near you. You can also call OptumRx Pharmacy Benefit Manager at 800-657-8205 or visit optumrx.com

You can use an Electronic Funds Transfer payment option from a checking or savings account. To pay this way, you need to first submit an EFT Authorization form.

Depending on your plan, you receive either a physical or electronic ID card. If you have a dental or vision plan, you will need to obtain a separate dental ID# from myuhc.com. You can request copies of your ID card there, too.

A CareCredit credit card can be used to pay for deductibles, copays and other out-of-pocket expenses such as LASIK, dentistry, cosmetic surgery, and hearing care, which are not covered by insurance, subject to credit approval.  Once you have CareCredit, you can re-use it without reapplying, as long as you have available credit. Visit CareCredit for more information.F89
